TriPollar by Pollogen

The TriPollar skin tightening system was released in the United Kingdom in 2007 by Pollogen and is described as a third generation radiofrequency (RF) technology. TriPollar avails two systems, the Apollo and the regen XL for skin tightening, cellulite reduction, anti-aging and collagen rejuvenation.

As its name implies, TriPollar employs a three pole frequency system, rather than the two poles of bipolar or the single pole of mono-polar technology. Without getting into the technical nitty gritty, the TriPollar system is supposed to combine the effects of bipolar and mono-polar RF. The claim is a system with better results with less discomfort for the skin tightening recipient.

TriPollar doesn't require contact cooling during a skin tightening procedure. This means greater comfort for the recipient. Multiple sessions may be required, but only mild redness or swelling may occur following treatment and these symptoms relieve within 24 hours.
