Affirm by Cynosure

The Affirm Anti-Aging Workstation and skin tightening system by Cynosure employs a multi-pronged approach for comprehensive results. At its heart are several trademarked technologies. These include their MultiPlex technology; Combined Apex Pulse (CAP), the speediest laser-based energy source industry-wide; and Xenon Pulsed Light (XPL) technology.

The combination of technologies make both skin tone correction and collagen rejuvenation possible during the same skin tightening procedure. Affirm's light technology corrects pigmentation problems and blotchiness in the skin. Its radiofrequency technology then stimulates the collagen within the lower layers of the skin to add fullness reduce wrinkles.

The Affirm system is able to deliver different levels of heat to different layers of skin in the same pass. This customizes the heat level to each skin layer and reduces discomfort to the patient as each layer only gets the amount of heat it needs and no more.

Affirm also employs a sturdy applicator tip that lasts for greater numbers of patients than other systems. Tips can be costly and replacement factors into the cost of treatment. Affirm can treat up to ten patients before replacement. It is also a faster system, which cuts down on treatment time and subsequently cuts down on wear and tear.
